? <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLl`ISTED <br />pRDINANCE Np. 78 - la 6 <br />BY: ? <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ADOPTING UNIFORh1 <br />RULES, REGULATIONS AND STANDARAS FOR THE DESIGN <br />AND CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE IWROVEMENTS. <br />? <br />WHEREAS, a Corrnnittee on Uniform Standards from various agencies, <br />actively involved and having primary responsibility in the design, review, <br />approval, construction, operation and maintenance of sewerage systems has been <br />engaged in the formulation of standards to be used as a guid in the design <br />and construction of sewerage facilities, and <br />WHEREAS, it would be desirable that the design and construction of <br />sewer projects in the City should comply with such standards and regulations, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the adoption of uniform standards and regulations would assure <br />the residents of the City auality performance of the systems directly related <br />to the public health and welfare and is necessary. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY T'HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OUISTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the City of North Olmsted hereby approves and adopts <br />the Uniform Rules, Regulations, and Standards for the Design and Construction <br />of Sewerage Improvements as formulated by the Committee on Uniform Standards <br />dated N1ay 11, 1978, a copy of which Standards is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" <br />and incorporated herein as though fully rewritten. <br />SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the <br />earliest tlme al owed by law and after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : C&-? 1'jr' o7 1 <br />AT_TF,ST: f ? <br />Florence Camp ell, er o Council <br />- -? <br />J-U <br />ewey H. er , Presi e o Council <br />AP VED : 7 - ?
