TO 4:30 P.M., MONDAY <br />T'HROUGH FRIDAY, SCHOOL DAYS ONLY" SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION <br />OF BUT'I'ERNiTT RIDGE AND DOVER CENT'ER ROADS, TfEREBY CONTROLLING <br />TR.AFFIC TRAVELING IN A NORTHWESTERLY DIRECTION ON BUTTERNCJ'f <br />RIDGE ROAD TIAKING RIGHT HAND TURNS ONTO DOVER CENTER ROAD <br />TRAVELING IN A NORTHERLY DIRECTION, AND CONTROLLING TRAFFIC <br />TRAVELING IN A SOU'IT-IERLY DIRECTION ON DOVER CEN'TER ROAD <br />TIAKING RIGHT HAND T[JRNS ONTO BUTTERNUT RIDGE ROAD TRAVELING <br />IN A NORTHWESTERLY DIRECTION. <br />WHEREAS, Council and the Administration have determined that it is in <br />the best interest of public safety to prohibit right hand turns on red, from <br />7: 30 A.M. to 4: 30 P.t.4., Monday through Friday, school days only, at the inter- <br />section of Butternut Ridge and Dover Center Roads as hereinafter described, <br />and <br />Wf-EREAS, it is the desire of this Council and Administration to amend <br />the traffic control map and file to provide for the installation of said <br />traffic control signs, and <br />WHEP.EAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the maintenance of <br />a Traffic Control Map which said map can be amended only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and they are hereby authprized <br />and dir ed to amend the traffic control map and file of the City of North <br />Olmsted to indicate thereon two "No Right Turn on Red - 7.30 A.M. to 4;30 P.M., <br />Monday through Friday, School Days Only" signs contxalling traffic traveling <br />in a northwesterly direction on Butternut Ridge Road whexe it intersects with <br />Dover Center Road thereby restricting right turns on red £or individuals turning <br />north onto Dover Center Road, and controlling traffic traveling in a southerly <br />direction on Dover Center Road where it intersects with Butternut Ridge Road <br />thereby restricting right turns on red for individuals turning northwest onto <br />Butternut Ridge Road. <br />SECTION 2: That the Ma.yor be and he is hereby authorized to have the <br />proper department cause said signs to be installed in accordance with the terms <br />of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after t e earllest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : <br />ATTEST : <br />FLO CE E.
