_ ? . <br />- .r ? }7• <br />i <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 78-,Zj? <br />PAGE 2. <br />SECTION 4: That the Secretary to the Building Commissioner <br />and/or the Clerk within the Building Department shall act as Secretary <br />to the Board of Zoning Appeals, Board of Building Code Appeals, and <br />the Planning Commission. Said employee of the Building Department <br />shall be named to such position by the Building Commissioner with <br />the approval of the blayor. The individual acting as Secretary to <br />the aforesaid Boards and Commission shall be a regular employee of <br />the Building Department and shall be paid an additional premium of <br />Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per meeting attended. <br />SECTION 5: In computing length of service for the purpose of <br />making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no <br />credit shall be given for part-time services, but such limitation is <br />only for the purpose of computing longevity increments, and the ex- <br />clusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any <br />other benefits which may be due them for part-time service, as employees <br />of the Building Department. <br />SECTION 6: That the employees of the Building Department shall <br />not be require to work the following holidays, unless requested to <br />work by the Building Commissioner in an emergency: New Year's Day; <br />Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas <br />Day; the employee's birthday; President's Day; and floating holiday. <br />SECTION 7: That all full-time employees of the Building Department <br />shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br />1 to 5 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Two Weeks Vacation <br />6 to 11 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Three Weeks Vacation <br />12 to 19 Years inclusive, of full-time service - Four Weeks Vacation <br />20 Years and over of full-time service - Five Weeks Vacation <br />SECTION 8: That any other <br />of ordinances or resolutions, in <br />of this Ordinance, and especially <br />July 5, 1977, are hereby repealed <br />Ordinance. <br />SECTION 9: That the Clerk of <br />forward a copy of this Ordinance to <br />Director of Finance for the payment <br />above, immediately upon its passage. <br />ordinances or resolutions, or parts <br />conflict herewith to the provisions <br />Ordinance No. 77-108 enacted on <br />with the effective date of this <br />Council is hereby instructed to <br />the Building Commissioner and the <br />of remuneration, as set forth <br />SECTION 10: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into <br />line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : st?id <br />ATTEST: <br />NOR T.
