.?.:......:.?..,.?..,? -.,?, _ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 78 - 74 PAGE 2. - SECTION 4: That retroactive to January 1, 1978, the compensa- tion to be paid to the following employees of the Wastewater Treatment Section of the Public Works Division of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: Superintendent, Wastewater Treatment Plant Class III Class IV $10,000 to $18,000 Annually $17,500 to $20,700 Annually Assistant Superintendent of Operations Class III Plant Operation Foreman Asst. Superintendent of Maintenance Asst. Superintendent of Systems Chemist Systems Foreman $13,500 to $18,500 Annually $14,500 to $16,800 Annually $13,500 to $18,500 Annually $14,500 to $19,600 Annual,ly $10,000 to $13,200 Annually $14,500 to $16,800 Annually which salaries and wages shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. SECTION 5: The normal work week for regular full-time foremen in the Treatment Plant, Collection System and Lift Stations will bQ forty (40) hours of work in five (5) days of eight (8) consecutive hours per day, and exclusive of time allowed for meals during the period starting 12:01 A.M. Monday to midnight Sunday. In determining whether a foreman has worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week, hours on a holiday in which the employee did not work but for which he received pay shall be considered to be hours worked. There shall be no pyramiding of overtime. Effective July 1, 1978, foremen will be paid time and one-half (12) of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight (8) in any one work day and time and one-half (12) of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) in any one work week. SECTION 6: All full time employees of the Wastewater Treatment Section of the Public Works Division shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by the Public Works Commissioner in emergencies, or due to a regular posted work schedule, and shall receive regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and floating holiday. SECTION 7: All full time employees of the Public Works Division except the Secretary to the Public Works Commissioner and the Secretary to the Superintendent of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, having completed five (5) years of full-time continuous service, as employees of said department or having been transferred from some other department by administrative appointment shall be paid an additional three percent (3%) of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of ten (10) years full-time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive four percent (4%) of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full-time service, after which said employees shall receive five percent (5%) of their base annual salary until completion
