? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 78-66 <br />BY : MR. WILAMOSKY <br />? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 1000 TONS <br />OF SLAG, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service <br />be and he is here y- authorized to advertise for bids for <br />1000 tons of slag of various sizes for use in maintaining <br />the City's streets in accordance with the specifications now <br />on file in his office. <br />SECTION 2: That upon approval by the Board of Control <br />the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the <br />preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for <br />the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide <br />for the City's slag requirements, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative voge of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: a ` 7.0 <br />ATTEST: <br />G?L.t trc.? ? l-?
