N <br />y?,.. <br />Equipment and wrenches furnished by the City shall <br />be used in making such opening or connection and shall <br />be returned promptly to the City. <br />Upon obtaining a permit to open or connect to a fire <br />hydrant, the applicant for such permit shall deposit with <br />the Service Director the sum of One Hundred Dollars <br />($100.00) which deposit shall assure payment to the City <br />in the amount of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per day for <br />each day applicant shall open or connect to a fire hydrant. <br />Any opening or connection shall not continue for a <br />period longer than thirty days unless the applicant first <br />obtains an extension of the then current permit from the <br />Service Director. Upon obtaining an extension the applicant <br />shall pay in full all charges at a rate of Fifteen Dollars <br />($15.00) per day which are then due. Applicant shall <br />further pay an additional One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) <br />deposit which shall be used to pay the aforesaid daily <br />rate for the extension period. <br />When the opening to a fire hydrant is closed or the <br />connection is discontinued within the permit period and <br />the applicant has an unused balance with respect to the <br />deposit already paid to the City, then the City shall <br />return to the applicant the aforesaid balance of applicant's <br />deposit." <br />SECTION 2: That Section 921.01 as previously adopted is <br />hereby repeale and any other ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br />conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force rom an after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: , 1978 <br />ATTEST: <br />?4, ? ? - <br />T.
