RESOLUTION N0. 191$ <br />BY: MR. HATTON <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZII~ ACCEPTANCP <br />OF BID FOR LABOR AND MAT~IAL FOR <br />ESTHER AVE[~tJE WATER MAIN <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service of the City of North Olmsted <br />advertised for proposals for the furnishing of labor and material for the <br />construction of a water main on Esther Avenue from end of existing Water Main <br />to Easterly City Line, and <br />WHEREAS, P. DiGioia submitted the lowest and best proposal for furnishing <br />said labor and material, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Control of the City of North Olmsted has approved <br />entering into a contract with said bidder for furnishing m1d labor and material. <br />NOW, ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 7~iE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, OHIO, TEAT: <br />The Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to accept <br />the proposal of P. DiGioia to furnish labor and material for the improvement <br />of Esther Avenue from end of existing Water Main to Easterly City Line, by <br />constructing therein a water main, the same being the best and lowest proposal <br />submitted for $3,291.00; and said Director be and is hereby authorized to enter <br />into and sign a contract in accordance with the advertisement, the proposal and <br />the plans and specifications on file with the City Engineer. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, peace <br />and safety, and to immediately provide for a contract for the above improvement. <br />PASSED: October 6, 1953 <br />ATTEST: <br />~ ~ ~_ ~ <br />E.'~i.
