RESOLUTION N0. ~9o p gY; ~,/~ A RESOLUTION DECI,ARIIYG THE AMOUNT OF TAXES T~3AT MAY RAIfl BY LEVY AT THE MAXIMUM RATE AUTHORIZED BY LAW WITHOUT A VOTE OF THE ELECTORS TC3 BE INSUFFICIENT AND DECLARING THE NECES- SITY .OF A LEVY IN EXCESS :4F SUCH RATE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Hearth Olmsted, ~~- State of Ohio, two-thirds of all members elected thereto concurring: ~:r,~F Section A. That the amount of taxes that may be railed by the levy of taxes at the rnaxi.mum rate authorized by Section 5625-2 of the General Code on the taxable property in the City of North Olmsted will be insufficient to provide adequate amount for the necessary re- quirer~ents of said City and. that it is necessary for the purpose of rovidi.ng additional funds for current expenses of the City ®f ~iorth Amsted that texas be levied on the taxable property is said.City for the period of three years at a rate in excess of such maxim~wm:rate authorized by Section 5625-2 of the General Code. Section ~. That it is necessary to levy texas for the years 1954, 1955.a.nd 19fi6 at the rate for each year of three mills on each dollar of the tax valuation, which amounts to thirty cents (30¢) for each one hundred dollars 0100.00) of valuation, of the taxable .pro- perty within the City of North Olmsted in excess of~;~the rate authorized by said Section 5625-2 of the General Cvde, which is a renewal of the present three-mill levy. Section 3. That said proposed renewal of tax levy shall be submitted to the Electors of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio., at the next General Election to be held on November 3, 1953 in the said City, and the Clerk of this Council be and hs is hereby directed to certify a copy of this Resolution to the Deputy State Supervisors and Inspect- ors of Elections of Cuyahoga County.., Ohio,_in order that said Super- visors and Inspectors of Elections may make the nsce~ssary arrangements for the submission of such question to the Electors of said City, and all of which they are hereby respectfully directed to do.
