RESOLUTION N0. 1$$1~ <br />BY: MR. HATTON RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE <br />OF BID FOR LABOR AND I~9'ATERIAL FOR <br />GESSNER ROAD WATER MAIN N0. 2, <br />'~?HEREAS, the Director of Public Service of the City of North <br />Olmsted advertised for proposals for the furnishing of labor and ma- <br />terial for the construction of a water main on Gessner Road from <br />Walter Road to Columbia Road, and <br />WHEttEAS, P. Iji Gioia submitted the lowest and best proposal <br />for furnishing said labor and material, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Control of the City of North Olmsted <br />has approved entering into a contract with said bidder for furnishing <br />said labor and material. <br />IVOW , THEREr'ORL , r3E IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLialSTEll , OHIO , THAT <br />The Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />accept the proposal of P. Di Gioia to furnish labor and material for <br />the improvement of Gessner Road from Walter Road To Columbia Road, <br />by constructing therein a water main, the same being the best and <br />lowest proposal submitted for ~p11,516.00; and said Director be and is <br />hereby authorized to enter into and sign a contract in accordance with <br />the advertisement, the proposal and the plans and specifications on <br />file with the C~.ty Engineer. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety, and to immediately provide for a contract for the <br />above improvement. <br />PASSED: April 7, 1953 <br />ATTEST: <br />E, ~. hristma , of Council <br />APPROVED: <br />arence J . att , ayor <br />
