SCHWENK RESOLUTTOT3 AUTHORIZING ACCEPTATdCE <br />OF BIIi FOR LABOR AND T~ATERIAL FOR <br />STEARI'1S ROAD WATER T~TAIN . <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service of the City of North <br />Olmsted advertised for proposals for the furnishing of labor and ma- <br />terial for the construction of a water main on Stearns Road from end <br />of existing main to Southerly City Line, and <br />WHEREAS, Cooper Construction Company submitted the lowest and <br />best proposal for furnishing said labor and material, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Control of the City of North Olmsted has <br />approved entering into a contract with said bidder for furnishing said <br />labor and material. <br />NOvJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVE;D BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, THAT: <br />The 1lirector of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />accept the proposal of Cooper Construction Company to furnish labor <br />and material for the improvement of Stearns goad from end of existing <br />main to Southerly City Line, by constructing therein a water main, the <br />same being the best and lowest proposal submitted for X21,$55.00; and <br />said Director be and is hereby authorised to enter into and sign a <br />contract in accordance with the advertisement, the proposal and the <br />plans and specifications on file with the City Engineer. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety, and to immediately provide for a contract for the <br />above improvement. <br />~~~.
