That the amount of taxes that may be raised by the <br />levy of taxes at the maximum rate authorized by Section 5625-2 of the <br />General Code on the taxable property in the City of Forth Olmsted will <br />be insufficient to provide adequate amount for the necessary require- <br />ments of said City and that it is necessary for the purpose of provid- <br />ing additional funds for recreational purposes that taxes be levied on <br />the taxable property in said City for the period of three pears at a <br />rate in excess of such maximum rate authorized by Section 5625-2 of the <br />General Code . Said levy is a renewaJ_ of an existing levy expiring; ,r<rlth <br />the year 1952. <br />SECTION 2. That it is necessary to levy taxes for the years <br />1953, 1954 and 1955 at the rate for each year of five-tenths of a mill <br />on each dollar of the tax valuation, which amounts to five cents (5~} <br />for each one hundred dollars (~~100.00) of valuation of the taxable <br />property within the City of 'lorth Olmsted in excess of the rate author- <br />ized by said Section 5625-2 oi' the General Code. <br />SECTIOI~i 3. That said proposed renewal of tax: levy shall be <br />submitted to the Electors of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, at the <br />next General Election to be held on 1'~ovember ~., 1952 in the said City, <br />and the Clerk of this Council be and he is hereby directed to certify <br />a copy of this Resolution to the Deputy State Supervisors and Inspect- <br />ors of Elections of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in order that said Super- <br />visors and Inspectors of Elections may make the necessary arrangements <br />for the submission of such question to the Electors of said City, and <br />all of which they are hereby respectfully directed to do. <br />SECTION 4.
