RESOLUTION NO. / 8' 3 <br />BY: ~jL RESOLUTION AUTHCR.IZIIJG AND DIRECTING <br />THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ENTER <br />INTO CONTR~ICT FOR THE PURCHASE OF OIL <br />FOR MOBILE EQUIPMENT OWNED AND OPERATED <br />BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />Whereas, the Director of Public Service of the City of North <br />Olmsted has duly advertised for proposals for the furnishing of lubri- <br />eating oil for the trucks, buses, police cars and all automotive or <br />mobile equipment of the City of North Olmsted, and <br />Whereas, The Pocahontas Oil Corporation has submitted the lowest <br />and best proposal for the furnishing of lubricating oil for the purposes <br />above stated which is as follows: <br />Purol Heavy Duty Motor Oil, in Drums or Bulk - <br />.53 cents per gallon <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />The proposal of The Pocahontas Oil Corporation to furnish oil to <br />the City of North Olmsted for its trucks, buses, police. cars and all other <br />automotive or mobile equipment for a two year period beginning April 5, <br />1952, be accepted. <br />The Director of Public Service is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a contract with The Pocahontas Oil Corporation in accordance with the <br />advertisement, the proposal and the specifications on file. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety and to immediately provide necessary material for City <br />equipment. <br />PASSED: July 1, 1952 <br />ATTEST: <br />hr tm le rk_ o <br />APPROVED: <br />arence att, ayor <br />
