RESOLUTION NO. 1$32 <br />BY: I~IR.. BAKER RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE <br />OF BID FOR LABOR AND ~dATERIAL FOR <br />BARYON ROAD T~iATER MAIN . <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service of the City of North <br />Olmsted advertised for proposals for the furnishing of labor and ma- <br />terial for the construction of a water main on Barton Road from Lorain <br />Road to the southerly line of Tony Basile land (234-17-5), and <br />T~IHEREA,S, Tom Simich & Son submitted the lowest and best pro- <br />posal for furnishing said labor and material, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Control of the City of North Olmsted has <br />approved entering into a contract with said bidder for furnishing said <br />labor and material. <br />NOti'y , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />Nf?RTH OLMSTED , OHIO , THAT <br />The Director of Public Service be and is hereby authorized to <br />accept the proposal of Tom Simich & Son to furnish labor and material <br />for the improvement of Barton Road from Lorain Road to the southerly <br />line of Tony Basile land (234-17-5), by constructing therein a water <br />main, the same being the best and lowest proposal submitted for <br />X22,319.50; and said Director be and is hereby authorized to enter into <br />and sign a contract in accordance with the advertisement, the proposal <br />and the plans and specifications on file with the City Engineer. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety, and to immediately provide for a contract for the <br />above improvement. <br />PASSED: June 17, 1952 <br />ATTEST: <br />.
