RESOLUTI€3N NO. 1$21 <br />BY: MR. BAKER <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />PURCH~;SE OF POLICE CAR <br />ti~VHEREAS, the Safety Director duly advertised for prv- <br />posals for furnishing a police car to the Police Department of <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, and <br />T~IHEREAS, George Falke submitted a proposal to furnish <br />said car for the sum of 1,63$.95, which was the lowest and best <br />proposal received, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Control has approved the acceptance <br />of said proposal. <br />NQW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOliVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OZ!~~5'1FD , OHIO <br />That the proposal of George Falke to furnish a Ford Sedan <br />for the use of the Police L'epartment in accordance with the ad- <br />vertiseme~lt and for the sum of ~1,b3~•95, be and the same is here- <br />by accepted. <br />The Director of Public Safety is authorized to complete <br />negotiations for the purchase of said police car and sign any <br />papers on behalf of the City to acquire title to said car. <br />The Auditor is hereby authorized to issue a check drawn <br />on the Treasury of the City in full payment for said police car. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public <br />health, peace and safety, and to immediately provide for police <br />equipment. <br />PASSED: April 15, 1952 <br />ATTEST: <br />.+~- __._ <br />. i kris m n, a unci <br />AP~`ROVED <br />arence J v att, Mayor <br /> <br />
