RESOLUTION N0. 1767 <br />BY: Mr. Kramer RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR <br />LABUft AND MATERIAL FUR CANTERBURY <br />ROAD WATER MAIN. <br />WHEREAS, this Council duly advertised for proposals <br />for the furnishing of labor and material for the construction <br />of a water main on Canterbury Road, from Lorain Road -North, <br />to the Northerly Line of the Coe Rid ge Investment Ca. 2449.05 <br />feet from Lorain, and <br />WHEREAS, P. DiGioia submitted the lowest and best <br />proposal for furnishing said labor and material. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, that the proposal of P. DiGioia <br />to furnish labor and material for the improvement of Canterbury <br />Road, from Lorain Road - North, to the Northerly Line of the <br />Coe Ridge Investment Co. 2449.05 feet from Lorain, by construct- <br />ing therein a water main be and the same is hereby accepted. <br />Said proposal being the lowest and best bid, and in the amount <br />of X20,447.00• Said labor and material t o b e furnished <br />according to the plans and specificati ons on file in the <br />office of the engineer. <br />The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to ent er <br />into a contract with the said P. DiGioia for said labor and <br />material. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary far the public <br />health, peace -and safety, and to immediately provide for a <br />contract for the above improvement. <br />Passed: September 4, 1951• <br />Attest: <br />_ _... _._ <br />.
