B aumg ardn e r <br />x RESOLUTION <br />FIXING THE COIuiPENSATION ~~D VACATION PERIODS OF THE BUS DRIVERS <br />OF THE NORTH OL1I~STED I4U11TICIPAL BUS LINE BEGINNINCx SEPT:3~BER 1,1950. <br />WHEt~:EAS this Council desires to fix the comperes a- <br />tion of the bus drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, <br />and <br />~iEREAS the bus drivers have agreed not to ask <br />for any change 3n compensation or vacations except as hereinafter <br />set forth, for a period beginn3.ng September 1, 1950, and ending <br />December 3l, 1951; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That on and after the first day of <br />September, 1950, the compensation of the regular and extra bus <br />drivers of the North. Olmsted Municipal Bus Line sha11 be as follows: <br />,Any person employed as a bus driver, who has had <br />no previous experience or not sufficient previous experience, <br />shall serve as an apprentice for a period of one year. During <br />the first three months of said apprentice period. he shall receive <br />:1.32 per hour; dur;Lr=v trze second three months of said apprerst:ice <br />period he shall receive ,;;1.37 per hour; during the next three <br />months of said apprentice period he sha11 receive ;~1.a2 per hotiar; <br />and Burin g the last three months of said apprentice period he <br />shall receive `~~1.47 per hour; and thereafter he shall. receive <br />X1.52 per hour. All bus drivers wha have served their apprentice <br />periac; shall receive t~1.52 per hour. <br />Section 2. On and after January 1, 1951., each <br />regular or extra bus driver shall receive the following vacation; <br />He` sha11 be entitled to one v~eekts vacation with pay ix! the year <br />following one year of continuous service; a week's vacati_or_ to <br />consist of six days, at the rate of eight hours per day, At the <br />expiration of two years and thereafter, he shall be allowed tvao <br />weeks annual vacation with pay at the rate of eight hours per day, <br />six days per week. After the completion of five years of con- <br />tin~a.ous service, and for each year thereafter, up to ar~d including <br />eleven years of continuous service, he sha11 be allowed one <br />additional dayts pay at the above rate per ~num for such service, <br />so that the maximum number of days for vacation with pay, regard- <br />less of service shall not exceed. eighteen days at the hourly rate <br />of eight hours per day. <br />Section 3. All ordinances or resolutions, or <br />parts thereof, incor_sistent with this resolution are hereby <br />repealed in so far as they conflict with this resolution. <br />Section 4.
