Resolution No. 1662 <br />By Mr. Baumgardner <br />A RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING THE ,AMOUNT 0 F TAXES THAT Tv~AY BE RAISED BY LEVY <br />AT TT.~"~ MAXIbdITM RATE AUTHORIZED BY LAW WITHOUT A VOTE OF <br />THE ELECTORS TO BE INSUFFICIENT AND DECLARING THE NECESSITY <br />OF A LEVY IN E~CCESS OF SUCH RATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio, two-thirds of all members <br />elected thereto concurring: <br />Section 1. That the amount of taxes that may be <br />raised by the levy of taxes at the maximum rate authorized <br />by Section 5625-2 of the General Code on the taxable property <br />in the Village of North Olmsted will be insufficient to provide <br />adequate amount for the necessary requirements of said Village <br />and that it is necessary for the purpose of providing addi- <br />tion a1 funds for current expenses of the Village of North <br />Olmsted that taxes be levied on the taxable property ixs said <br />Village for the period of three years at a rate in excess of <br />such maximum rate authorized by Sectian 5625-2 of the General <br />Code. <br />Section 2. That it is necessary to levy taxes for <br />the years 1951 1952 and 1953 at the rate for each year of <br />three mi11s on each dollar of the tax valuation, v~.ich amounts <br />to thirty cents (30~~ for each one hundred dollars 0100.00) <br />of valuation, of the taxable property within the Village of <br />Nort'n Olmsted in excess of the rate authorized by said Section <br />5625-2 of the General Cod®, which is a renewal of the present <br />three-mill levy. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk be and he is hereby <br />directed to certify a copy of this resolution to the Deputy <br />State Supervisors and Inspectors of Elections of Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio, in order that said Supervisors anal Ins~aectors <br />of Elections msuch~uestionetostheyelectorsmoftsaidrVillage <br />submission of q <br />of North Olmsted, as provided by law. <br />Section 4.
