RESOLUTION N0. 2t~3 5 . <br />BY: Mr. Baker. rESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID OF HARTFORD <br />ACCIDENT AND INDEI~NI`1'Y INSURANCE <br />CON~T'ANY . <br />BE IT RESOT,VED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLT~.STED, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br />T,~HEREAS, the City duly advertised for proposals for the furn- <br />fishing of liability, fire and theft, collision, property dar~lage and all <br />necessary insurance for vehicles and other equipment owned by said City, <br />and <br />1~THEREAS, the Hartford Accident and Indemnity Insurance Company <br />submitted the lowest and best bid for said insurance requirements of said <br />City. <br />T~lOW, THEREFORE, the bid of said Company is hereby accepted and <br />the Safety-Service Director be and is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract for the furnishing of liability, fire and theft, collision, prop- <br />erty damage and necessary insurance in accordance with said advertisement <br />and proposal submitted. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety and to provide insurance coverage for municipally o caned <br />motor vehicles. <br />PASSED: February 5, 1957• <br />ATTEST: <br />E:.
