RESOLUTION N0. 2112. <br />BY : Mr. Crider. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SAFETY DIRECTOR <br />TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF A T~fOTOR VEHICLE FOR USE BY THE SERVICE <br />DEPARTMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service of the City of North <br />Olmsted has duly advertised for proposals for the purchase of a motor <br />vehicle for the use of the Service Department of the City of North <br />Olmsted, and <br />-~tHEREAS, the Lyons Truck Sales, 32 Chestnut St., Elyria, <br />Ohio, has submitted the lowest and best proposal for furnishing such <br />motor vehicle for use of said Service Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL Or THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF UHIO, THAT: <br />The proposal of the Lyons Truck: Sales, 32 Chestnut Street, <br />Elyria, Ohio, for the purchase of one Moclel R192A International Truck <br />with Garwood Body, in accordance with the City proposal dated November <br />17, 1956, be accepted, for the sum of X7,35$.60. <br />The Director of Public Service is hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with the said Lyons Truck Sales <br />for the purchase of said motor vehicle as hereinbefore set forth, in <br />accordance with the advertisement for proposals, the proposals and the <br />specifications on file, all of which shall be made a part of the con- <br />tract as if fully rewritten therein. <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety and to immediately provide a motor vehicle for the use <br />of the Service Department of said City. <br />~~~ PASSED: December 1$, 1956. <br />ATTEST: <br />.
