ORDINANCE N0. ~ 7~ g By; ~~ ~ AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 234-23-$ 0 N STEARNS ROAD, I~RTH OLMSTED, OHIO. WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, for the improvement of Stearns Road, in the City of North Olm- sted, Ohio, by constructing therei n a water main (No. 2 , and `~' WHEREAS, Malchus-Klink, have paid said assessments, together with interest thereon, on Permanent Parcel No. 234-23-$ on the Auditors records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the Gity of North Olmsted, Ohio. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLI~LSTED, STATE OF OHIO: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be aYrl is hereby auth- orized and directed to cancel all future assessments, beginning with the assessments for the year 1957 and continuing through 1963, certified and levied on Permanent Parcel No. 234-23-$ on Stearns Road (No. 2), North Olmsted, Ohio, and which assessments were certified and levied for the impprovement of Stearns Road, by constructing therei n a water main (No. 2). That the annual assessments for said improvement including interest at the rate of 3~ on said premises amounted to the sum of X320.97• That the Treasurer of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in full, with interest of such assessments beginning with the pear 1957 and continuing through 1963. That the Clerk is ordered to certify a copy of this Ordim.nce to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, peace and safety and to provide immediately for the cancellation of special assessments which have been paid in full.
