RESOLUTION N0. a 3 $~ <br />BY: Mr. ~~~ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SAFETY-SERVICE <br />DIRECTOR TO PROCEI~D WITH THE PURCHASE <br />OF REAL ESTATE FOR STREET PURPOSES. <br />WHEREAS, sidewalks are being installed and constructed on <br />both sides of Clague Road, from Lorain Road to Mastiek Road, as <br />petitioned for by more than sixty per cent (60~) of the property owners <br />therefor, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquir® a portion of the Raymondo <br />and Maria F. Corte property to construct the sidewalk on the westerly <br />side of said Clague Road. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />That the Safety-Service Director be authorized arri directed <br />to proceed with the purchase of the following described portion of the <br />Raymondo and Maria F. Corte property, fully described as follows: <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga <br />and State of Ohio, and known as being part of Original Dover Town- <br />ship Lot No. 20 and bounded and described as follows: <br />Beginning at the point of intersection of the Southwesterly <br />line of Clague Road, 60 feet wide, ar~d the Northeasterly line of <br />land conveyed by Michael Georgeff to Raymondo and Maria F. Corte <br />by deed dated July 30, 1942 ar~d recorded in Volume 545$, Page 77 <br />and 7$ of Cuyahoga County Deed Records; <br />Thence North b7° 41~ 22" West 4.10 feet along said NArth- <br />easterly line of lattl. so -conveyed to Raymondo and Maria F. Corte <br />to a point in the proposed new Southwesterly line of Clague Road; <br />Thence curving to the right 122.2$ feet along said South- <br />westerly line of Clague Road on an arc with a radius of 221.40 <br />feet and whose chord bears South 210 32t 54" East 120.73 feet to <br />its point of intersection with the Southwesterly line of land so <br />conveyed to Raymondo and Maria F. Corte, as aforesaid; <br />Thence South 750 29' 35" East 0.$0 feet along said South- <br />westerly line of land so conveyed to Raymondo and Maria F. Corte <br />to its point of intersection with the Westerly line of Clague <br />Road, as aforesaid; <br />Thence North 00 56~ OOtt West 69.7$ feet along said Westerly <br />line of Clague Road to an angle point therein; <br />Thence North 44 19' OOK West 57.53 feet along said South« <br />westerly line of Clague Road to the place of beginning, be the <br />same more or less, but subject to all legal highways. <br />The Auditor is authorized and directed to pay the considera- <br />tion of said purchase in the total sum of Three Hundred Sixty Dollars <br />0360.00) upon the execution by the sellers of a quitclaim deed in <br />legal form approzed by the Solicitor. <br />This is a n emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace, safety and welfare aryl to provide necessary real estate for the <br />construction of a sidewalk. <br />PASSED: November 7 , 1956• <br />ATTEST : ~____~~ <br />C erk o Counci E.
