. ~.~ a _ <br />RESOLUTION N0. -"` `~ ±,° ~ <br />BY: Mr. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT <br />OF MORAL CLAIM. <br />WHEREAS, Olmsted Sign Company, 3722 Clague Road, North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, was authorized to erect six benches at six bus stops <br />along Lorain Road on a temporary trial basis for the comfort of the <br />riders of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, said company to be <br />permitted to use space on the back of said benches for advertising, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Council now finds by reason of complaints <br />and objections to the presence of said benches that their erection <br />is not for the best interest of the community, and <br />WHEREAS, the Olmsted Sign Company and the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, are in agreeffient that said benches should be pur- <br />chased by the City at the cost price for other use by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO:: <br />That the Safety-Service Director be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to purchase said benches from the Olmsted <br />Sign Company for the cost price to said company, to-wit: X193.$0. <br />That the Auditor be and is hereby authorized and directed <br />to issue a check of the City in said sum for the payment of said <br />moral claim. <br />This Resolution shall take effect and be in force and <br />effect after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED:: November 7 , 1956. <br />ATTEST <br />of Council. <br />~k <br />APPROVED: <br />~z ~ -' <br />~. <br />arles ewis, Mayor <br />
