<br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO D~ODIFY THE CONTRACT WITH
<br />THE CITY OF FAIRVIEW-PARK, WHICH EMPIRES.
<br />~'ER.31, 1961, FOR Bi1S SERVICE WITHIN
<br />THE CITY OF FAIRI~IEGi PARK..AND TI3E CITY OF
<br />FAIRVIEW PARK. TO A ~ FROM THE GITY OF CLEVT-
<br />LAND,.BY HSTABI.ISHING.NEW RATES OF FARE AND
<br />AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 2192 as AMENDED:,
<br />WHEREAS, this City has a contract with the City of FairTi~r
<br />Park for tY~e finishing of bus service ro~i.thin said City and to and from
<br />the City of Cleveland, which contract expir®s D®cember 31, 1961, and
<br />WHEREAS., said contract provides for modification of the contract
<br />by altering the fare structure in the event there are increased operating
<br />costs to the City of North Olmsted, and
<br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted bias notified the City of
<br />Fairview Park that there has been an increase in operating cost of such
<br />bus service ,making it necessary for an alteration of the fare structure,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNGII. OF THE CITY OF
<br />NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO:..
<br />Section is That the contract heretofore entered into with the
<br />City of Fad ew~ark, as authorized by Ordinance No. 2355, which contract
<br />expires December 31, 1961, be modified insofar as the rate of fare to be
<br />charged Fairview Park patrons for service, as follows::
<br />(1) From any pint in the City of Fairview Park, Ohio,
<br />to the Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio, or any. other
<br />point on said bus route in the City of Cleveland, Ohio,
<br />except Kamm's Corners, Cleveland, Ohio - - -
<br />THIRTY FIVE CENTS (35¢) cash fare one way.
<br />(2) Frost the Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio, or any other
<br />point on said bus route in the City of Cleveland, Ohio,
<br />except Karts Corners, to any point in the City of
<br />Fairview Park, Ohio - - -
<br />THIRTY FIVE CENTS (35¢) cash fare one way.
<br />Section 2. Ordinance No. $9w, passed July 3, 1951, Ordinance
<br />No. lOlO,.passed~ anuary 20, 1953, Ordinance No. 2192 pass®d August 16,
<br />1955, and any and all other Ordinances fixing or determining rates of fare
<br />concerning the City of Fairview Park, Ohio, contrary to or in conflict
<br />herewith, axe hereby repealed effective January 1, 1957•
<br />Section 3. That the Director of Public Service be and is
<br />heret~p authorized~aad directed to enter into a contract with the City of
<br />Fairview Park, Ohiu~ modifying the existing contract relative to th® rate
<br />of fares for bus transportion service for Fairview Park patrons, as pro-
<br />vided by Section 1 of this Ordinance.
<br />Section ~, This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
<br />from and after~e -~aarliest period allowed by law.
