<br />AMENDED.
<br />WHEREAS, this City has a contract with the City of Fairview
<br />Park:_.for the fishing of bus service within said City and to and from
<br />the City oi' ~etelaad, which contract exp Tres January 1, 1957, and
<br />WHEREAS, said contract provides for modification of the contract
<br />by altering the,fare structure in the event there are increased operating
<br />costs to the City of Dtorth Olmsted, and
<br />W~iEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has notified the City of
<br />Fairview Park that there has bean an increase in operating cost of such
<br />bus service, making it necessary for an alteration of the fare structure.

<br />NORTH OLMSTED, STATE-OF OHI©:: -
<br />Section 1 ~ That the contract heretofore entered into with the
<br />City of Fairvi~a~r-k, as authorized by Qrdiaance No. $$3, which contract
<br />egpir®s January 1. 1957, be modified insofar as the rate of fans to be
<br />charged Fairview 'ark patrons for servic®, as follows::
<br />(1) From any point in the City of Fairview Park, Ohio,
<br />. to the Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio, or any other
<br />point on said bus route in the City of Cleveland, Ohio,
<br />except Kamet's Corners, Cleveland, Ohio - - -
<br />THIRTY FIVE .CENTS (35¢) cash fare one way.
<br />(2) From the Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio or any other
<br />- point on said bus route in the City of ~leveland, Ohio,
<br />except Kamffi's Corners, to any point in the City of
<br />Fairview Park, Ohio - - -
<br />THIRTY FIVE CENTS (35¢) cash fare one way.
<br />Section 2 Ordinance No. $9~. passed July 3, 1951, Ordinance
<br />No. lOIO, bass- eiuary 20, 1953, Ordinance No. 2192 passed August 16,
<br />1955, and any and .all other Ordinances fixing or determing rates of fare
<br />concerning the City of Fairview Park, Ohio, contrary to or is conflict
<br />herewith herewith, are hereby repealed effective November 1, 1956.
<br />Section,, That the Director of Public Service be and is
<br />hereby nut ©r~ se ~aael directed to enter into a contract with the City of
<br />Fairview Park:, Ohio, atodif~ the existing contract relative to the rate
<br />of fares for bus transportion service for Fairview Park patrons, as pro-
<br />vided by 3ec~3.on 1 of this Ordinance.-
<br />Sectior~t That this Ordinance is declared to be an em®rgency
<br />measure, tfie Berg®ncy being that it is necessary for the immediat®
<br />preservation of public health, safety, peace and welfare, and to continue
<br />transportation service for the people of the City of Fairview Park, Ohio,
<br />ani to fix proper and adequate fare rates for bus transportation service,
<br />and it shall take effect and be in force on and after November 1, 1956, s~f
<br />approved by the Mayor axed provided it receives the affirmative vote of
<br />three-fourths of all members elected to Council.
