<br />THE CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
<br />ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-9-? oN
<br />MACKENZIE GOAD (N0. 2) BY CO NaTRUCTING
<br />THEREIN A WATER MAIN, NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO.
<br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the
<br />Auditor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuya-
<br />hoga County, for the improvement of Mackenzie Road, in the City of
<br />North Olmsted, Ohio, by constructing therein a water main (No. 2),
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, peter Paras has paid said assessments, together
<br />with the interest thereon, on Permanent Parcel No. 235-9-7 on the
<br />AuditorRs records of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the City of North
<br />Olmsted, Ohio.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO:
<br />That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby auth-
<br />orized and directed to cancel all future assessments, beginning with
<br />the assessments for the pear 1956 and continuing thr®ugh 1961, cer-
<br />tified and levied ©n Permanent Parcel No, 235-9-7 on Macke~ie road,
<br />(No. 2), N©rth Olmsted, Ohio, and which assessments were certified
<br />and levied for the improvement of Macke nzie Road, by constructing
<br />therein a water main.
<br />That the annual assessments for said improvement including
<br />interest at the rate of 2-3/l~y~ on said premises amounted to the sum
<br />of $259.02.
<br />That the Treasurer of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, is
<br />hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in full, with
<br />interest of such assessments beginning with the pear 1956 and ending
<br />in the pear 1961.
<br />That the Clerk is ordered to certify a copy of this Ordinance
<br />to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
<br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health,
<br />peace and safety and to provide immediately for the cancellation of
<br />special assessments which have been paid in full.
