<br />~~'rILtF~S, the City of ivorth Olmsted, Ohio owns and operates a
<br />bus line known as the irT~Torth Olmsted I4iunicipal Bus l,inett, and
<br />~~3IIBrtE~,S, the City of north Clmsted, Ohio has contracted with
<br />the City of Fairview Perk, Ohio, for bus service within the City of
<br />r'airview Park, Ohio, and to and from s~~lid City and the City of Cleve-
<br />land, Ohio, and
<br />t~'1ir;~;1~S, this Cauncil desires to enter into a new cantr~act
<br />with the City of Fairview Park, Ohio, for bus service.

<br />Section 1. What the llirector of Public Service of the City
<br />of Forth Olmsted, Ohio, is hereby authorized and directed to enter into
<br />a contr~~.ct titrith the City of Fairview Park, Ohio, providing for bus ser-
<br />vice within the City of Fairview Park, Ohio and to and from s~4~.d City
<br />and the City of Cleveland, Ohio, aril. other adjacent municipalities.
<br />~ copy of said contr::~ct is attached hereto, made a part hereof, incor-
<br />porated 'Herein as if :fully rewritten, and its provisions adopted 'Hereby.
<br />Section 2. Said contr~_ct for bus service shall be in effect
<br />the 1st day of Janue.ry, 195'x, p-r~ovided the City of Farviewr Park, Ohio,
<br />passes proper legislation by that time, and said Agreement is signed,
<br />and shall remain in full force and effect until the 31st day- of llecember,
<br />1961. '
<br />Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to 'oe an er~~er-
<br />gency measure necessary f'or the in~rlediate preservation of public health,
<br />welfare and safety, and for the further reason that it provides neces-
<br />sary bus transportation for the people of the City of Fairview Park,
<br />Ohio, and the necessary aper~ition of a municipal department, and pro-
<br />vided it receives the af~'irmative vote of two-thirds of all the members
<br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately
<br />upon the passage of same and ap1Qroval by the Mayor.
