RESOLUTION N0. 2131. <br />BY: Mr, B~~mer. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE ~0 ENTER INTO <br />A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A BULLDOZER. <br />Whereas, the Director of Public Service of the City of <br />North Olmsted has duly advertised for proposals for furnishing a <br />New or Used Crawler Type Tractor with front end loader, known as a <br />bulldozer, and <br />Whereas, Marks Tractor and Equipment Company has submitted <br />the lowest and best proposal for furnishing such equipment, to wit: <br />1 new Allis-Chalmers Model HDG Tracto Shovel <br />for X10,231.10. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, ST:~TE OF OHIO: <br />That the proposal of the Marks Tractor and Equipment Com- <br />pang Company to furnish said equipment to the City be and it is hereby <br />accepted. <br />The Director of Public Service is hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with the Marks Tractor and Equip- <br />ment Company for the purchase of said equipment in accordance With <br />the advertisement for proposals, the proposal and the speeifications <br />on file, all of which shall be made a part of the contract as if fully <br />rewritten therein, <br />This is an emergency measure necessary for the public health, <br />peace and safety and to immediately provide for the purchase of nec- <br />essary equipment for the City. <br />PASSED: May 4, 1955• <br />ATTEST : .. <br />.
