<br /> <br />oxDZNAmcE xo. ~,~~ 1954 <br />An emergency ordinance giving consent of the City of North Olmsted to <br />the construction of the proposed S.R. 17 Extension in North Olmsted as <br />a limited aecese highway under the supervision of the Director of <br />Highways, and proposing to cooperate with said Director in certain <br />matters incident thereto. <br />WHEREAS, The public convenience and welfare requires the improvement <br />of S.R. 17 by extendi~ag it in North Olmsted, and <br />WRERFA,S, The Council of the City of IQorth Olmsted, ]Hereinafter referred <br />to as the CITY, desires to cooperate with the Director of Highways of the State of <br />Ohio hereinafter referred to as the STATE, in the construction of said S.R. 17 <br />Extension in North Olmsted, subject to certain conditions, now therefore: <br />BE IT ~@RDAIL'~ED BY THE COUNCIL O1~ THE CITY OF NORTH OLI~STED~ STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br />SECTION 1. That the public convenience and welfare demands the establishment and <br />construction of the Nxtension of Brookpark Road, Stets Route 17, including the ac- <br />quiring of ri~t-of tray, grading, draining and paving Pour lanes divided, with 9" <br />of reinforced ocaa+t~te on that part of the Extension which lies within the corporate <br />limits of the City of North Olmsted, and between the follo~ring described termini: <br />Beginning in the centerline of the proposed Brookpark Road Extension at a point on <br />the westerly corporation line of Parkview 'Pillage; thence southerly 67°•55'-17" W., <br />1351.30 feet to a point of curvature; thence along a curved line deflecting to the <br />right 1907.74 feet, said curved line having a cord which bears S. 79°-02'-59~" W.; <br />thence northwest 7,442.16 feet along the Dover-Olasted township line to an eagle <br />point; thence S. 890-55'-26" W., 426.97 along the Dover-Olmsted township line to a <br />point in the centerline of State Route loo. 10 (known locally as Lorain Road), as now <br />established and there terminate. Being in all a distance oY about 2.11 Mi., and shown <br />more particularly by construction plans prepared by the State of Ohio, Department of <br />Highways, hereinafter called the PROJECT. <br />SBCTIOA 2. The CITY consents, and such consent is hereby given the STATE p~roceeiing <br />frith the construction of the PROJECT herein considered. <br />SECTIOA 3. The CITY consents that the STATE acquire and pay for all property and <br />property rights required for the project herein conteaplated, or any part thereof, <br />acquiring such property rights without permitting aecesa to said PROJECT as a i"reeway <br />or limited access highways as set forth in Section 5511.02 of the Revised Code of Ohio, <br />and in accordance with afore-mentioned plans. <br /> <br />y, ~ . <~~r ~ , , • ~~. , n... ~.<~~~ - ,. , ,. . <br />
