That on and after the let day of October, 1853 the <br />compensation o e regular and extra bus drivers of the North Olmsted Muni- <br />cipal. Bus Line shall be as follows: <br />.Any person employed as a bus driver, who has had no previous <br />experience or not sufficient previous experience, shall serve as an appren- <br />tice for a period of one year. Orating the first three months of said <br />apprentice period ha shall receive X1.60 per hour; during the second three <br />months of said apprentice period he shall receive $1.65 per hour; during <br />tY~ neat three months of said apprentice period he shall receive $1.70 per <br />hour; and during the last three areonths of said apprentice period he shall <br />receive $1.75 per hour; and thereafter he shall receive $1.80 per hour. <br />All bus drivers wh,a have served their apprentice period shall receive $l.$0 <br />par hour. <br />Section 2. On and after October let, 1953, each regular or <br />extra bus drivs~i 1 rsc®ivs the following vacation: Hs shall be snt3.tled <br />to one week's vacation with pay in the year following one year of continuous <br />service; a week's vacation to consist of siz days, at the rate of sight hours <br />per day. At the expiration of two years and thereafter, he shall be allowed <br />two weeks annual vacation with pay at the rate of eight hours per day, six <br />days per week. After the completion of five years of continr~otas service, <br />and for each year thereafter, up to and including eleven years of continuous <br />service, he shall be allowed one additional day's pay at the above rats per <br />annram for such service, so that-the maximum number of days for vacation <br />with pay, re~rdlees of service, shalt not exceed eighteen days at the hourly <br />rate of eight borate per day. All bus drivers shall receive their regular <br />hourly rate for a period not eaceed3ng eight hours for the following holidays: <br />New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thangegiving De~y <br />and Christmas Day, on which they shall not be required to work. Bus drivers <br />in addition to compensation for regular scheduled time shall, be paid each <br />day on which they work for one-half hour as an allowance for show-up or check-in <br />time. However, in oxdar to receive pay for one-half hour show-up ti.a~e, drivers <br />sha11 show up or check in one-half hour before the start of their scheduled <br />run, otherwise they shall receive pay only from the actraal time they show up <br />or cheek in to the ti,mia of their scheduled run. <br />Section 3.
