OF'~DITvANCE N0. ~d ~ p HY ~ ATE ORliIT~AT~ CE TO LEVY SPECIAL ASSESSTw1EY~TTS FOR THE IT~IPftOVET~tENT OF V~ALT~:R ROAD FROTvI GESSNEft ROAD TO FLORENCE AVENUE , i3Y CONSTRUCTITdG THEREITV A uiIATER T~iAITJ. ~3E TT ORDxIT~ED ~3Y 1'riE COUNCIL OF ~1HE CITY OF TuOR`i.'H OLT~TSTED , :~T~TE OF OH10: Section 1. `That the assessment of the cost and expense of improving 4talter Road from uessner H.oad to Florence Avenue, by con- structing therein a water main, amounts in the aggregate to &,850.00, as reported to this Council by the City Engineer, notice of the filing of which assessment has keen given, as required by law, be and the same is hereby adopted and confirmed and that there be and is hereby levied upon all the lots and land bounding and abutting upon ~'Jalter Road from Lessner Road to r'lorence Avenue, by constructing therein a water main, the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assess- ments, together with the descriptions of said lots and lands, are now on file in the office of the Clerk of this Council, and which assessments are at the rate of ~.3~3$ per front foot and are not in excess of the special benefits to said property. Section 2. That the total assessments against each lot or parcel of land shall be payable in cash within thirty days from and after the passage of this ordinance, or at the option of the owners, in ten annual installments with interest at the same rate as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued in anticipation of the collection of the same. All cash payments shall be made to the Treasurer of said City. All assessments and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of said thirty days shall be certified by the Clerk of this Council to the County Auditor, as provided by law, to be by him placed on the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected.
