OttD INAi~ CE iv 0 , f © ~- 7 <br />AN ORDIIuAI~ CE `i'0 LEVY SPECIAL <br />BY : Gt~~ti~ <br />~SSESSIViE~TS r~'OR '1HE IIuTPROVEI~EIVT 0~~' <br />iwIA.PLE RTDGE ROAD FROST CLAGUE ROAD TO <br />i~~iLTER ROAD BY COISSTRUCT:~O~I OF A <br />CQI;ICRE`1'E WALK OI3 `i'IHE ~iORTHERLY SIDE <br />OF T~IAPLE RIDGE ROAD <br />~E 1T ORliAII~ED BY THE COUT~CIL O~~` THE CTTY OF IuORTH OLIbTSTED, <br />STATTiJ OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. <br />That the assessment of the cost and expense of <br />improving Maple Ridge Road fram Clague Road to `alter Road, by con- <br />structing a concrete walk on the northerly side of Maple Ridge Road, <br />amounts in the aggregate to x,550.00, as reported to this Council by <br />the City Engineer, notice of the filing of which assessment has been <br />given, as required by law, be and the same is hereby adopted and <br />confirmed and that there be and is hereby levied upan all the lots <br />and land bounding and abutting upon TJTaple Ridge Road from Clague <br />Road to vdalter Road by constructing a concrete walk on the north- <br />erly side of T~Taple Ridge Road, the several amounts reported as <br />aforesaid, which assessments, together with the descriptions of <br />said lots and lands, are now on file in the of%'ice of the clerk of <br />this Council, and which assessments are at the rate of ~y3.t,155 <br />per front foot and are not in excess of the special benefits to <br />said property. <br />Section 2. That the total assessments against each lot <br />or parcel of land shall be payable in cash within thirty days from <br />and after the passage of this ordinance, or at the option of the <br />owners, in .five annual installments with interest at the same rate <br />as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued in anticipation of the <br />collection of the same. All cash payments shall be made to the <br />Treasurer of said City. All assessments and installments thereof <br />remaining unpaid at the expiration of said thirty days small be <br />certified by the Clerk of this Council to the County Auditor, as <br />provided by law, to be by him placed on the tax duplicate and <br />collected as other taxes are collected. <br />
