<br /> <br />Section That the salaries and wages of the employees in <br />the Service~epartment are hereby fixed and determined to be as follows, <br />beginning April 1, 1953: <br />Street Commissioner <br />r'oreman <br />Class A labor <br />Class B labor <br />Class C labor <br />X4,922 • ~ Annually <br />1.7 5 per hour <br />1.65 per hour <br />1.55 per hour <br />1.45 per hour <br />~~p~.4yeea of the Service Lepartment shall not be required to <br />work on the following holidays: iVew Year's Day, Memorial Day, In- <br />dependence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, however, <br />said employees shall be paid for one eight hour day at the regular hourly <br />rate for all of said holidays. <br />Section 5. That said salaries as hereby determined shall be <br />paid in semi-monthly installments, payable on the 1st and 15th of each <br />and every month. <br />Section 6. That all of the above named employees shall furnish <br />bond in the amount of Twenty-five hundred dollars($~2500.00) . <br />Section 7. That Ordinance into. 99g passed November 5, 1952 and <br />Ordinance No. 939 passed rebruary 5, 1952 and any other ordinances or <br />parts of ordinances inconsistent hereto or in conflict herewith be and <br />the same are hereby repealed. <br />Section $. `t'his is an emergency measure necessary for the <br />public health, peace, safety and welfare and to immediately provide <br />adequate compensation for appointed officials and employees holding <br />the respective positions mentioned herein. <br />FAS~EIJ : iuiarch 24, 1953 <br />At/PN.OVED <br />,, <br />``~ . <br />larence ~ Oviatt, mayor <br />
