1.1. <br />livable area of a dwel~,i.ng~ or when the garage is connected to the dwelling <br />by means of a covered urea or enclosed area the entire area (dwelling breezeway <br />garage) so described shall be considered as a dwelling unit for the purposes <br />only of sideyard and front yard requirements under this Ordinance, A garage not <br />connected directly or indirectly to the dwelling shall be constructed no less than <br />twenty (20) feet behind the farthest rear extension of the dwelling and no less <br />than five (~) feet from the side or rear property line, In no case shall a <br />garage be constructed closer than twenty (20) feet to a dwelling on adjacent <br />property. <br />There shall be no open air parking of trucks or motor vehicles used for <br />business purposes in any Residence District. <br />4. A private greenhouse permitted in Section 2 is one containing not more <br />than four hundred (400) square feet of floor space, in which no produce, plants or <br />flowers are raised for sale or sold for gain, <br />5, Exceptions in accessory buildings are those used to house or shelter <br />domesticated or captured animals, or reptiles. Such buildings shall be at least <br />ten (14) feet from common property lines and at least two hundred (200) feet froth <br />s~3- human habitation or source of water supply. Buildings used to shelter wild or <br />damesticatsd fowl shall. be at least ten (10) feet from common property lines and <br />at least one hundred (100) feet from any human habitation or source of xater supply. <br />In no case shall accessory buildings of the above mentioned type be closer to the <br />street property line than one hundred (100) feet. <br />Dog shelters are excluded from the excentiona above stated. <br />6. A sign ar signboard not exceeding eight (8) square feet in area, apper- <br />taming only to the lease or sale of the premises. <br />7, A name plate not exceeding two (2) square feet in area, <br />$, A sign or bulletin board, not exceeding twelve (12) square feet in <br />areas so placed as not to interfere with front yard requirements nor obstruct the <br />view across the corner of intersecting streets; and erected upon the premises of a <br />church or similar institution for the purpose of displaying the name and activi- <br />ties thereof, or the services wherein provided. <br />9, A fence, hedges trees or shrubs planted so as to constitute a fence, <br />~rhich are not more than four (4) feet high along said side and rear property lines <br />as to constitute a f ence extending nearer the highway or street line than the <br />building line, except that ornamental fences or hedges may be established from the <br />building line to the street line and on the street line if the ornamental fence <br />or hedge does not exceed 30 inches in height. In no case or upon no premises <br />shall an electrified fence be erected, <br />
