<br />Section 1. That said proposal of The Cleveland Electric Illuminatin
<br />Company, for furnishing electric street 1i€hting service in the "ity be and
<br />the same is hereby accepted, and. tr.a.t the Director of Public Service of the
<br />City is hereby authorized and. directed to execute a contract in the name of
<br />the City with The Cleveland Electric Illumir~,ting Company for a per. iod of
<br />five (5) years from and. after 12:00 noon of January 1, 1953, subject to cancel
<br />tion at any time upon six (6) months' written notice by the Contractor, a.t the
