e <br />y.,, , s.. <br />SRI) I~TA~iCE AiC3 . ~ 7 ~, <br />BY: <br />~~~ A~ QRDI~T~HCE PRQVIDI~iG F'QR SICK <br />LEAVE FQR CITY E~PL~37~ES <br />BE IT (~.DAIbiED BY THE CQUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 1~4RTH ~L~'P1, <br />STATE OF E3HI0, THAT <br />Each full-time empla~yee of the City of North Amsted, 4hio~, is <br />entitled to and shall be allowed sick leave of one and One-fourth (1-1/4) <br />work days with pag fc~r each completed month of service. <br />Employee may use sick leave upon approval of the adasinistrative <br />officer of the department in which they are employed for ab~enrst date to <br />illness, injury, exposure to contagious disease which could tae co~uni- <br />cated to other employees, ahd to illness or death in the emplayse~'~ im- <br />~aediats ~y. Unused sick leave shall be cumulative up to ninety Ego) <br />werk dais unls ire t~l~ln niZtety (90) days are approved by the ad~inis- <br />trative officer of the department. <br />Previo~sl~y aceulatec sick leave of an employee who h~,s been <br />separated from:icipal service may be placed to his credit ugon his re- <br />employment in thei service of the City. An employee who transfers fry <br />one city degar~n:t t4 another city department shall be credited: with the <br />unused balance of his accumulated sick leave. <br />Provis~c~~ial a~p~inttes or those who render part-ts3~, ~eaffior~al, <br />intermittent, per die~r,dr hourly service shall be entitled to sick leave <br />for the t ia~s actually r~rked at the s~~ rate as that granted full-time <br />employees. <br />The administra~ti~re officer of the department in which the emp2oyse <br />is employed m$y require the employee to furnish a sati$fa¢tory affidavit <br />to~-the effect that his absence was caused by illness due to any of the <br />foregoing causes <br />This Ardinance shall be uniformly adffiinstered as to empl©yses <br />in each department of 'the city goverxu~ent. <br />
