BE IT ORDAINED BY TI-iE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0~~~' ~lORTH C~L„~uiaTEL , OHIO: Section 1. That the assessment of the cost and expense of improving Walter Road from Gessner Road, to Maple RidYre Road by the Construction of a water main, amounts in the a~;~~regate to <~17 , 500.00 , as reported to this Council by the City En.~ineer, notice of the fi]_~.ng of which assessment has 'oeen .~~iven, as required by law, be and the same is hereby adopted and con- firmed and. that there ~~e and is hereby levied upon all of the lots and land bounding and abutting upon Walter Road from Gessner Road to maple Ridge Road, the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments, together with the descriptions of said lots and lands, are now on file in the office of the Clerk of this Council, and which assessments are at the rate of 3.73 per front foot and are not in excess of the special benefits to said property. Section 2. That the total assessments against each lot or parcel of land shal~_ be payable in cash within thirty days from and after the passage of this ordinance, or at the ovtion of the owners, in ten annual installments with interest at the same rate as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued in antici- pation of the collection of the same. All cash x~ayments shall be made to the Treasurer of said City. All assessments and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of said thirty days shall be certified by the Clerk of this Council to the County Auditor, as provided by law, to be by him ple.ced on the tax duplicate and coll.eeted as other taxes are collPCted.
