OP~AF'PFA~S <br />Section 1. ~ N - ;~5, ktP <br />(a) A Bard of Appeals is hereby established. The word ~~Heard" <br />when used in this ordinance shall be construed to mean the Hurd of Appeals. <br />(b) The Board shall consist of three msmbears, recomaasaid~,d ~ tttie <br />Igor and appointed by Council. One member shall be desigAated to serve un- <br />til January 1, 1953, one until January 1, 1954, and one until Janue-ry 1, 1955. <br />Their successors shall ~ appoint®d, on the expiration of their respective <br />terms to serve three years. An appointment to fill a casual vacaacy mhsll be <br />only for the unexpired portion of the terms. <br />Section 2. MEE~INGS,~. Meetings of the Board shall be held at least <br />once a month and at such other times as the Board may determine, or upon Dell <br />of the Chairman. All meetings shall be open to the public. The Beard shall <br />adopt its own rules of procedure and shall keep a record of its proceedings <br />showing the vote of es-ch member upon each question, or if absent or failing <br />to vote indicating such fact; and shall keep records of its exar+d~.t~ations atul <br />other official actions. Every rule or regulation, every amendment or re~pesl <br />thereof and every order, requirement, decision or determination of the Hoard <br />shall immediately be fil~i in the office of the Board -and becomes a peeblic <br />rCCOTd. <br />Section 3. The appell~t sha11 file with the Administrative Officer and `dth <br />the Board of Appeals a notice of appeal specifying the grounds thereof. <br />Such appeal shall be taken xithin a reasonable time as provided by the rules <br />of the Board by filing with the officer from whom the appeal is taken and <br />with the Board of Appeals a notice of appeal specifying the ge'a'r thsrsot, <br />The Administration Officer shall forthxith transmit to the Board all paper$ <br />constituting the record upon which the action appealed from was taketa. <br /> <br />
