CITY OF NOR2~H OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE No. 63 <br />~~ ~ , <br />AN ORDINANCE ANIENT9ING SECTION 1212.D1 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. ~i2-33 ( THE ZONING CODE 4F THE CTTY OF NORTH <br />~~~" OLMSTED) AS iT RELATES TO THE SIZE OF PARKING <br />SPACBS RE+QUiRED FOR OFF STREET PARKING AND RB- <br />PBALING SATII SECTION 1212.01. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, Mate of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Section 1212.01 (Definitions and <br />Standards) of Chapter 1212 (Definitions and Schedulea~)Title <br />Nineteen of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted <br />(Ordinance No. 62-33), now reading as follows: <br />'1212.01 Definitions and Standards <br />For the purpose of determining off-street <br />parking requirements, definitions and standards shall <br />be as follows: <br />(!1) Par a ace - An open or enclosed area for <br />the parking of automobiles directly accessible unto an <br />aisle or private drive. Each space shall not be leas <br />than 9 feet wide and not less than 20 feet long exclu- <br />sive of all drives, aisles, ramps, and turning apace, <br />except, however, attendant parking lots operated by an <br />attendant and parking areas for one and two-family <br />dwellings may be less than 9 feet wide. The actual <br />number of spaces shall be determined from a workable <br />plan of the parking area. <br />'(B) Fi~or area - The total area of all the floors <br />shall be measuxe~ cl~`rom the exterior faces of the <br />building, except that an area used for storage of mer- <br />chandise may be excluded if approved by the Building <br />Official, or only the floor area occupied by the specific <br />use if so set forth in the Schedule, Section 1212.42. <br />(C) S~ - The number of seating units installed <br />or indicated, or each 24 lineal inches of benches, pews, <br />or space for loose chairs or similar seating facilities; <br />spacing of rows shall be assumed at 30 inches on center. <br />(D) Bmployees - The maximum number of employees on <br />the two largest successive shifts." <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"1212.U1 Definitions And Standards <br />For the purpose of determining off-street <br />parking requirements, definitions and standards shall be <br />as follows: <br />(A) Parkin s ace - An open or enclosed area for <br />the parking~~ i~omobsies directly accessible unto an <br />aisle or private drive.
