CITY OF NORTH ~DLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION No. 63 <br />y <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE STATE OF OHIO, DE- <br />PARTMENT OF HIGHb4AYS TO PAVE ANTI IMPROVE NORTH <br />PORTER ROAT1 AND COLUMBIA ROAD IN THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, North Porter Road from Lorain Road <br />north to the northerly corporate limits of the City of North <br />Olmsted is a State Highway designated as Ohio State Route No. 17; <br />and <br />Wf1ERF.P1~, Columbia Road. from the point at which <br />it enters the City of North Olmsted from the south to the northerly <br />corporate limits of the City of North Olmsted is a State Highway <br />designated as Ohio State Route No. 252; and <br />hif-IEREAS, moth of these routes within the City <br />of North Olmsted are badly in need of paving and improving. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council <br />of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the State of Ohio, Department of High- <br />ways is respectfully requested to pave and improve in the same <br />manner as is customary and usual for state highways in urban areas <br />the following State Highways within the limits of the City of <br />North Olmsted: <br />(a) North Porter Road from Lorain Road North <br />to the corporate limits of the City of North Olmsted <br />presently designated as Ohio State Route :No. 17. <br />(b) Columbia Road from the southerly corporate <br />limits of the City of worth Olmsted to the northerly <br />corporate limits thereof presently designated as Ohio <br />State Route No. 252. <br />Section 2: That a certified copy_ of this resolution be <br />delivered by the Clerk of Council to the Department of Highways <br />of the State of Ohio. <br />Section 3: WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take imme~:liate <br />effect from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~~"~' I.S, /%~~~°' <br />aside t <br />of Council ~'~ ~~ ~~~~ <br />A'T,~TE <br />,. ..~~~ <br />~` L~tu~se Hall, Clerk o ouncil <br />APPROVELt : , <br />/~ ~ y r <br />;~ <br />Paul J. _~areau, Mayor <br />Y~ <br />-1 <br />J /` ~ I/ <br />l'~, 7 <br />~.~~: <br />t <br /> <br />
