~~~llg' ~s- a ~y CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDTNANCE No. b3- a"~ C~~, By ~~ ~ ~'' ~ ~~r ~- AN ORDINANCE AMENDTNG SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. t., 62-16 ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR BUS DRIVERS OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL COACH LINE, AND DECLARTNG AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 62-16 amended a prior ordinance establishing compensation for bus drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Coach Line and Council desires to establish new rates of compensation for such bus drivers effective as of October 1, 1963. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance ivo. 62-1b, presently reading as follows: "Section 1: That beginning January 14, 19b2, the compensation of the regular and extra bus drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Coach Line shall be as follows: Any person employed as a bus driver with no previous experience or insufficient prior experience as an operator of a public passenger bus shall serve an apprentice period of one year. During his appren- ticeship, such driver shall be paid during the first three months of apprenticeship $2.15 per hour; during the second three month period of apprenticeship he shall receive $2.20 per hour; during the third three month period of such apprenticeship he shall receive $2.25 per hour; and for the final three month. period of apprenticeship he shall receive $2.30 per hour. Having completed the apprenticeship, such driver shall then receive pay at the rate of $2.35 per hour; and all other operators of the North Olmsted Municipal Coach Line shall receive $2.35 per hour." be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 1: That effective October 1, 1963, com- pensation for bus drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Coach Line shall be as follows: (a) Any person employed as a bus driver with no previous experience or with insufficient prior experience as a driver or operator of a public passenger bus shall be required to serve one year as an apprentice. During such year such driver shall be paid, during the first three months of his apprenticeship, $2.25 per hour; during the second three months of his apprenticeship, $2.30 per hour; during the third three months of his apprenticeship, $2.35 per hour and for the final three months of his apprenticeship, $2.40 per hour. After having completed his one year ap- prenticeshir~ r.e shall be paid as provided in Paragraph (b) herein. (b) All bus drivers other than apprentices (as set forth in Paragraph (a,) herein) shall be raid at the rate of $2.45 per hour."
