CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />..-~ <br />ORD 1 NANCE N0. /~l <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-2-28 <br />BEING AN ASS ESSMENT FOR PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR SANITARY SEWERS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY.. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Finance <br />Director of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County <br />for the preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers, <br />WHEREAS, William T. ~ Shirley Corcoran of 5164 Luceydale Ave. <br />have paid the sum of ~ 11.90 in payment of said special assessments, in <br />advance, for the tax years 19 63 through 1979, inclusive, together with <br />accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No 235-2-28 , <br />in the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 63 through 1979, inclusive, <br />assessments in full for preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary <br />sewers. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments <br />for-the period 19 63 through 1979, inclusive, amounting to ~ li. on <br />said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of the Council is hereby directed to forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of <br />the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel No 235-2-28~ <br />for.. preparation of plans and specifications for sanitary sewers. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from <br />and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASS ED• ~~~ <br />ATTEST• <br />Louise Nall, Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: <br />Pain Gar ux', Mayor <br />es=~ <br />Bruce MacDonald, President of Council <br />`~~ ~ .. <br />'~ <br />/,(SIG,/,1. ~ ~-{ ~{ <br />~~ <br /> <br />
