C;U~,Q~,~,~.,f.~ <br />~0 5 - ~.~ <br />CITY OF NORTH vLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE No. 63 ~-riC <br />1 <br />AN ORDINANCE Ah~IEN I)I NG SECT ION 2 OF ORDINANCE 3115 , <br />ENACTS n SEPTEi~ RER 21 , 196 0 , ENTITLED "OR ~1T NANCE <br />CREATING THE ~?OSTTION OF SECRETARY TO THE ZONING <br />BOARD OF APPEALS ANI7 FIXIN C0~-9PENSATION THF'sREFOR" <br />AS AMENDED ~3Y ORDINANCE No. 61-99, ENACTED MAY lb, <br />1961, Ai~TD DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section lz That Section 2 of Ordinance 3115, enacted <br />September 21, 1960, entitled "Ordinance Creating the Position of <br />Secretary to the Zoning Board of appeals and Fixing Compensation <br />therefor" as amended. by Ordinance No. 61-99, enacted May 16, 1961, <br />presently reading as follows: <br />"Section 2: That the compensation for the re- <br />corcjing secretary of the Zoning Board of Appeals sha11 <br />be at the rate of Eight Dollars ($3.00) per regular <br />meeting, not to exceed twelve meetings per year, in the <br />performance of the duties as recording secretary fixed in <br />Section 1 of this ordinance, and that~the position of <br />recording secretary is hereby created and to be effective <br />the first meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals of this <br />city in October, 1960." <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 2: That the compensation for the recording <br />secretary of the Zoning ~3oard of Appeals shall be at the rate of <br />$ 25.~~ per regular meetin;, not to exceed twelve meetings per <br />year, in the performance of the duties as recording secretary <br />fixed in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3115, compensation as herein <br />set forth shall be effective ,June 1, 1963. <br />Section 3: That Ordinance .~10. 61-99 is hereby re- <br />pealed concurrently with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 4s That this Jrdinance is hereby determined to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the puvlic <br />welfare, peace, health and safety by virtue of the necessity of <br />making compensation for the secretary to the Zoning Board of Appeals <br />comparable to the compensation for like services in other city <br />departments; WHEl2.EFORE, this v.rdinance shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allou~red by law. <br />,. <br />.~-' ~~ <br />Bruce Mac onald, resident <br />of Council <br />AT'~ES <br />S f <br />Louise Hall., Clferk of Council <br />Ak~PBS?VEII: ~ / '~ <br />ul '. c7,~~#~au, Mayor <br />j <br />~~. <br />
