CITY OF NORTH OLMST.ET) <br />ORDINANCE No . 63 - /C? 1 <br />_. <br />m, <br />.. <br />B ~.:: ~ ~~ ~ . ~~ <br />y ., <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDTNANCE 3014 WITH RESPECT <br />T+~ THE COMPENSATION OF THE RECORDING SECRETARY OF <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT URDAINBD by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance 3014, enacted on <br />April 19, 1960, presently reading as follows: <br />t'Section 1: That the Planning Commission is hereby <br />authorized to employ a paid recording secretary who shall <br />transcribe from notes taken at said meetings and to pre- <br />pare minutes of said meeting, letters anc3 other notices <br />which may be required and for such services to be com- <br />pensated at the rate of $10.00 for each regular meeting <br />of such Commission." <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 1: That the Planning Commission is hereby <br />authorized to employ a paid recording secretary who shall trans- <br />cribe from notes taken at said meetings and to prepare minutes <br />of said meeting, letters and other notices which may be required.... <br />and for such services to be compensated at the rate of $ 25.00 <br />for each regular meeting of such Commission, effective Tune^, 1963. <br />Section 2: That Ordinance 3014 is hereby repealed con- <br />currently with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the .public <br />welfare, ,peace, health and safety by virtue of the necessity of <br />making compensation for the recording secretary of the Planning <br />Commission comparable to compensation paid for like services in <br />other city departments; WHTREFORE, this Ordinance shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, <br />at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: fr~t'~ r.
