CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 64- / ~ <br />a <br />BY ~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />AN AUTOMOBILE FOR THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />AND PUBLIC SAFETY, AT AN ESTIMATED COST OF $2,100.00 <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director <br />of Public Service and Safety, that :he has need for an automobile to carry <br />on the duties of his office, and <br />WHEREAS, in order to assist the Director of Public Service <br />and Safety to efficiently carry out the duties of his office Council desires <br />to purchase an automobile for the use of the Director of Public Service and <br />Safety not to exceed the price of X2100.00. <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service and Public <br />Safety be and he is hereby authorized to advertisefor bids for an automobile <br />according to the specifications now on file in his office . Said automobile <br />is not to exceed the purchase price of $2100.00 and is to be used by the <br />Director of Public Service and Public Safety in performing the duties of his <br />office . <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the need to said automobile <br />to assist the Director of Public Service and Public Safety to efficiently carry <br />out the duties of his office; ~i'~IEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earlies± <br />period allowed by law . <br />PASSED: ~c~.(JVlyt.~-(~ ~ ~ `~ ~O~ <br />~~~ ~ Y~ <br />Francis J.
