CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. jp~" '~9 <br />¢Y <br />AN ORDINANCE THORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL NO. 235-14-85 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A WATER LINE <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of a water line. <br />WHEREAS, Homer Coombs of 6074 Porter Road <br />have paid the sum of $ 41.72 in payment of said special assessments, in ~dvan~~s, <br />fpr the tax years 19 65 through ig 66 inclusive, together with accrued irtts-~rspllt <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 235-14-85 in the City of ~r~fi, <br />Qlmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section i; That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is her~yr <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 65 through 19 66 inclusive <br />assessments in full for, construction of a water line. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />i; hereby. authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />~~Sessments for the period tg 65 through lg 66 inclusive, amounting tq <br />~ 41.72 on .said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forwattd <br />art attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />.and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of tF~.necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 235-14-85 for construction of a water line. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />Francis J.
