CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~-029 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 232-29-18 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />SIDEWALK AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />pity of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of a sidewalk <br />WHEREAS, Alexander ~ Helen Nerves of Canterbury Road <br />have paid the sum of $ 311.36 in payment of said special assessments, in adv-A~'~c~, <br />fer the tax years )g 65 through 19 72 inclusive, together with accrueul ,ntara~,t <br />I~viad thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 232-2g-18 in the City of Mor7rh <br />Olmsted, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Qlmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is horgby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 19 65 through 19 72 inclusive <br />assessments in full for, construction of a sidewalk. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City. of North Olm;tad <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />a>~sessments for the period 19 65 through l9 72 inclusive, amounting to <br />S 311.36 on .said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forvpprd <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohip. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />urgency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />end Welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 232-29-18 for construction of a sidewalk <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />¢rom and,~fter its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />~ C~_.,.` c'`~ <br />Francis J.
