FfJR VI~IG 1~3RTH <br />z DBE ~ C,AZN 2 ~C cax~r~u~ a ~- MA~t <br />BE IT ORDlIINTD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OIL, OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the revised assessment of the cost and expense of improving <br />North Park Drive from Porter Road to a point 1300 feet crest thereof by installation <br />of a 12-inch water main, amounting 3.n the aggregate to ~ ~ ~:(~• ~ as reported <br />to this Counc i1 on the 1st dsiy of r, 1~~ the Iirector of <br />Finance of this City and now on file infc+e of the Clerk of Council, be and <br />the seine is hereby adopted and confirmed and that there be and are hereby 3evied and <br />assessed upon the lots and ].ands bounding and abutting upon said improvement the <br />several amounts reported as aforesaid, which assessments are in proportion to the <br />benefits and are not in excess of any statutory limitation. <br />Section 2. That this Council hereby finds and determines that the revised assess- <br />ments as now on file in the office of said Clerk are in the same proportion to the <br />estimated assessments as originally filed as the actual cost of the above described <br />improvement is to the estimated cost of the improvement as originally filed. <br />Section 3. That the assessment against each lot or parcel of land shall be payable <br />in cash within thirty days after the passage of this ordinance or at the option of the <br />owner in ten annual installments with interest at the sate rate as shall be borne <br />by the bonds to be issued in anticipation of the collection of the same. All cash <br />payments shall be made to the Director of Finance of the City. AL1 assessments and <br />installments thereof remaining unpe~id at -the e~cpiration of said thirty clays shall be <br />certified by the Clerk of Council to the County Auditor as provided by law to be <br />placed by him on the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected. <br />Section ~+. That the Clerk of Council shall cause a notice of the passage of <br />this ordinance to be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in this City <br />and to continue on file in her office said revised assessments. <br />Section 5. The Clerk of Council is hereby directed to deliver a certified copy <br />of this ordinance to the County Auditor within twenty days after its passage. <br />Section 6. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of said City, <br />and for the further reason that the levy of the aforesaid asses~me~ts is necessary <br />forthwith to permit the issuance of bonds and retj.rement of outstanding notes about to <br />fall due, Srefore, this ordinance shall be ixi full force and effect from and <br />ima~diately after its passage. <br />Passed ~~~~~, 1964 <br />Attest <br />of Council <br />C.- <br />Mayor <br />'~' 'l l _ i ~ '~°~.f <br />~ ~ ~,~ <br />u~.~ <br />~~ <br />
