~~ ORDINANCE N0. ~`,lt ~"~~ <br />', ~ , <br />TO I~'VY SPECIAL ASSS33I~~NTS FOR THE CO~iSTRt7C3'I01~ OF SIDEGIAIKS <br />IN FLEHARTY RQAD WHERE NOT C(~STRtICTED BY PROPERTY OWNERS <br />BE IT OR~IIQED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the assessment of the cost and expense to be paid by <br />property owners for the construction of sidewalks in Fleharty Road as <br />described in Resolution No. /,a ., ~'/ passed Mk~ /S 1g61i~ <br />amounting i.n the aggregate to $979.5$, as reported to this Council by <br />the Director of Finance, notice of the filing of which assessment has been <br />given as required by law, be and the same is hereby adopted and confirmed, <br />and that there be and are hereby levied and assessed upon the lots and lands <br />shown in said report the several amounts reported as aforesaid, which <br />assessments and the description of said lots and lands are now on file in the <br />office of the Clerk of Council and which assessments are not in excess of <br />any statutory limitation. <br />Section 2. That the total assessment against each lot or parcel of <br />land shall. be payable in cash within thirty days from and after the passage <br />of this ordinance, or, at the option of the owner, in five annual installments <br />with interest at the same rate as shall be borne by the bonds to be issued <br />in anticipation of the collection oP the same. All cash payments shall be made <br />to the Director of Finance. All assessments and installments thereof re~ae-ining <br />unpaid at the expiration of said thirty days shall be certified by the Clerk <br />of Council to the County Auditor as provided by law to be placed by him on <br />the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected. <br />Section 3. Said Clerk is hereby directed to certify a copy of this <br />ordinance to the County Auditor within twenty (20) days after its passage. <br />Section ~+.
