CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. b ~jF~2-2-~ <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 235-20-4 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION Of A <br />SIDEWALK AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor pf the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of a sidewalk <br />WHEREAS, Miles Reiley of 5901 Fitch Road <br />have paid the sum of $ 104.16 in payment of said special assessments, in advart~el, <br />for the tax years 19 65 through ig 68 inclusive, together with accrued lntaN~tt <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 235-20-4 in the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />OlmslTed, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is heresy <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years i9 65 through 19 68 inplusiw~r <br />assessments in full for, construction of a sidewalk. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City. of North Oi~tpd <br />is hereby. authorized and directed to receive payment in advance an such <br />ssessmesnts for the period 19 65 through 19 68 inclusive, amounting tq~ <br />104.16 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forwaral <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be en <br />4mergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtu~a <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 235-20-4 for construction of a sidewalk <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immedisltely <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, ,at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />RASA Ei): , <br />Francis J.
