~ .~ , , ORDINANCE N0. ~ ~ Z/ <br />~J AIF.PHORIZ G THE DIRECTOR OF IAW OF THE CITY OF NORT~i 03~5TED <br />TO EMPLOY SPECIAL COUNSEL TO ASSIST HIM IN THE PROGEEU38 <br />LOCt{ING TO THE ISSI~NCE OF SEGIER Ii+u'ROVEMET~'T ASSESSMENT NOTES <br />FOR AREA III. <br />BE IT ORI~INED BY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLA~TED, OHIO; <br />Section 1. That the City Solicitor be and he is hereby authorized <br />to employ the law firm of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, of Cleveland, Ohio, <br />Municipal Bond Attorneys, to assist him in the preparation of requisite legis- <br />lation and taking of the necessary proceedings for the issuance of approxi- <br />mately $1,081,000 of Special Assessment Bond Anticipation Notes to pay the <br />property owners' portion of its cost of constructing sanitary suers in Area 3 <br />of the City of North Olmsted, and furnishing the approving opinion thereon. <br />Section 2. That for the services so to be rendered by said law firm <br />a fee now estimated at not to exceed $1,025 shall be paid by the City, together <br />with their out-of-pocket expenses for long distance telephone calls or other- <br />wise, which sum shall be paid from the proceeds of the aforesaid notes, if <br />issued, and otherwise from the general fund of the City: <br />Section 3. This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety <br />of said City and further for the reason that the legal services herein pro- <br />vided for are necessary to the immediate construction and financing of the <br />sewer improvement herein described for the protection of the health of abuttix~.g <br />owners and the inhabitants of the City; wherefore this ordinance shall be in <br />full force and effect from and immediately after its passage and approval. <br />Passed• ~ , 1~6~ <br />Approved: ~ , 196 <br />Mayor <br />` ~ _. <br />President of C it <br />Attest: ~/ <br />Clerk Council <br />~..: <br />_~ <br />~~~~ <br />i6'~`~ <br />
